Leander Gardens is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to fresh, nutritious food and the opportunity to learn about sustainable living. Located in Hillside, Bulawayo, our garden has blossomed from a small family plot to a thriving community hub—complete with 71 raised beds, a café, a retail pantry, and educational programs designed to unite, inspire, and empower.
Our Story
What started as a simple family garden has grown into something much bigger. Today, Leander Gardens is a place where residents come together to cultivate more than just crops—we’re cultivating community, knowledge, and a deep connection to the land. Through our diverse range of programs and offerings, we work towards food security, sustainable agriculture, and social well-being in Bulawayo.
