Location & Visitor Tips

Leander Gardens is tucked away just off Esigodini Road in Hillside, Bulawayo—an accessible green space for all ages.
  • Parking: Free street parking is available. Look out for the Leander Gardens signs near the entrance.
  • Public Transport: Easily reachable by taxi or private car. You can also take a Waterford Kombi from in front of the Small City Hall—ask the driver to drop you on Leander Avenue, just after Ekusile Medical Center.

What’s included in a workshop ticket?

Each ticket covers expert-led instruction, garden tools, and take-home materials or guides. Light refreshments are also provided. Sessions are practical, relaxed, and open to all skill levels.

How can I sell at the Farmer’s Market?

To join as a vendor, simply register online or contact our team. We welcome local producers, crafters, and small businesses who align with our community and sustainability values.

What happens if an event is postponed due to weather?

If an event is postponed due to rain or other unforeseen conditions, we’ll notify all participants via email or WhatsApp and provide alternative dates or a full refund, where applicable.

Can I bring my own food or catering?

Yes! You're welcome to bring your own food. We also offer fresh ingredients from our garden and light catering support from our café if you'd like help preparing or serving your menu.

How far in advance should I book a private event?

Bookings should be made at least 7 days in advance. This gives us time to prepare the space and coordinate any optional extras like catering or tours.
